-

-
What vaccines are required for grooming? For everyone's safety, we require that pets are up-to-date on their Rabies vaccinations. Proof of vaccination will be requested at your first appointment. This is a legal requirement that all grooming salons must abide by.

-
What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. We do not carry cash for safety reasons. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
-
How is pricing determined?Pricing is based on a number of factors such as size, breed, the condition and length of the pup’s coat, and type of service requested. All of these factors impact the amount of product, time, and technical skills to properly take care of your pet.
-
How often should I groom my pet?It depends on you and your pup's lifestyle and needs. Active dogs and dogs with large fluffy coats should be groomed every 3-4 weeks. Dogs with shorter coats that are kept inside can be groomed every 4-6 weeks. Going more than 6 weeks between grooms is not recommended because improper maintenance can damage your pup’s coat and cause health issues.
-
Fleas? If your pup has mild fleas, we recommend the Flea Shampoo "pup"grade. This medicated treatment will kill existing fleas and ticks and rehydrate your pup’s skin, providing relief from itchy and dry skin. All dogs with fleas must be done at the end of the day. If you’re not the last appointment of the day and fleas are discovered, we must reschedule you to the end of that day if possible or another day. If your dog has severe case of fleas we may cancel the appointment and have you see a vet and charge you a trip fee.
-
Do you sanitize between services?Yes! Between each service, we sanitize the tub, table, and grooming areas.

Poodle/Doodles Coat Care (check out our blog)
Poodles and doodle-type coats are gorgeous, but they require consistent care. Their curly, textured hair can tangle quickly, forming painful mats close to the skin. Mats trap dirt and moisture, which can lead to irritation, sores, or infection.

If matting gets too severe, shaving down may be the kindest option. It’s a fresh start, and with regular upkeep, your pup’s coat will grow back healthy, soft, and tangle-free.

Coat Care Best Practices:
-
Daily Combing: Use a slicker brush and metal comb to reach the skin, not just the top layer.
-
Regular Appointments: Schedule grooming every 4–6 weeks to keep the coat healthy.
-
Home Checks: Pay attention to common mat-prone areas like behind ears, under collars, armpits, and around the tail.
Dematting Policy
-
Mats are painful, can cause skin issues, and often require extra time and care to remove.
-
If we think we can get the mats out without hurting the dog, we may charge a fee ranging from $15-$30 based on the time it takes to remove the mats.
-
In severe cases, shaving the coat short may be the only safe option. This may reveal hidden skin conditions.
-
Regular grooming every 4–6 weeks prevents matting and keeps coats healthy.
Fleas
-
We only treat mild cases of fleas using medicated shampoo.
-
You will need to treat your house, dog bed, carpet, and other items to eliminate fleas for good.
-
If your dog has a severe case of fleas, we will have no choice but to cancel the appointment and recommend you see a vet for treatment.
-
If the fleas result in us cancelling the appointment, you will be charged a $50 trip fee.
