ABOUT COAT & COLLAR
Care that goes beyond the coat.
At Coat & Collar, we believe grooming is part of your pet’s overall well-being—not just something you do when they start looking a little scruffy. Consistent care can help keep pets comfortable, support healthy skin and coats, and make grooming a familiar, positive part of their routine.
That’s why we’ve created an experience designed around both pets and their people. By bringing professional grooming directly to your doorstep, we take away the car rides, crowded salons, long wait times, and another errand on your already-full schedule. Instead, your pet gets focused, one-on-one attention in a calm environment just steps from home.
Everything we do is rooted in trust, safety, and genuine care. We take the time to get to know each pet—their personality, preferences, sensitivities, and quirks—so every visit can feel a little more familiar than the last. Because when grooming feels less stressful for your pet, it feels a whole lot better for you, too.
Our goal is simple: make it easier to give your pet the consistent care they deserve, so they can look good, feel good, and get back to what they do best—making home a happier place.

Our Team

Dane Kelley
FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Dane, founder of Coat & Collar Grooming. I've loved animals my whole life, and I'm the person who makes sure your pet is treated like family every time you trust us with them.
I spent nearly twenty years building teams and leading organizations in the corporate world before leaving to start something that mattered more to me: a company built around real care for animals and the people who love them. That background didn't go away when I made the switch. It shaped how I think about quality, accountability, and what it actually takes to build a team you can count on.
At Coat & Collar, my focus is simple: put together the best grooming team in Orange County. Skilled hands, yes, but also people who bring patience, warmth, and real expertise to every dog and cat they work with. I choose every team member the way I'd want someone choosing who handles my own animals, because I know how much your pet means to you, and I don't take that trust lightly.
We built Coat & Collar to give busy pet owners peace of mind: health-conscious practices, personal attention, and a team that loves the work. Your companion deserves nothing less, and we show up every day to prove it.
Taryn
SENIOR GROOMER
Hi, I'm Taryn! I've been grooming dogs for more than twenty years, and there isn't much I haven't seen. Matted coats, anxious first-timers, breeds most people can't pronounce, I've handled it all, and every one of those dogs taught me something.
After two decades, the work is second nature, and that experience shows in the details: a clean, even cut, a dog that stays calm on the table, and an owner who can tell their pup was in good hands. I still take pride in getting every groom right.
When I'm not in the van, you'll find me on a mountain bike or planning my next trip. Both keep me energized and remind me why I love what I do.

Rienna
GROOMER
Hi, I'm Rienna! I've been grooming for years, and my favorite part of the job is helping dogs feel comfortable, cared for, and looking their best.
I'm a Certified Dog Groomer with experience in both mobile and salon settings. I started as an apprentice and later earned my certification in mobile dog grooming, where I learned breed-specific cuts, coat maintenance, nail care, and all the little details that make a dog feel pampered. Before grooming, I worked as a kennel tech caring for dogs, and yes, even horses.
Mobile grooming is where I'm happiest. I love getting to know clients and their pups right at their doorstep, and making sure every session is safe, stress-free, and suited to each dog.
Avery
GROOMER
Hi, I'm Avery! I bring more than seven years of animal care experience to Coat & Collar, and my path here is a little different from most. I started my career as a veterinary technician, so I don't just know grooming, I understand animals from the inside out. That background gives me a real edge in recognizing what makes a dog feel safe, calm, and comfortable in the grooming van.
Today, I bring that expertise to every groom and treat each dog and cat like my own. My approach is gentle and patient, and the animal's comfort always comes first.
When I'm not behind the clippers, you'll find me playing music or lost in a good book, two passions that keep me creative and focused.

Lina
BATHER & GROOMER IN TRAINING
Hi, I'm Lina! I've been grooming for two years, and I still get excited every time a new dog steps into the van. I love this work, and I'm always looking to learn more, whether that's a new cut, a better technique, or a trick for helping a nervous pup relax.
I bring a lot of energy to the job, and the dogs seem to feed off it. My goal is to make every groom a positive experience, so each dog leaves looking great and feeling even better.
I'm proud to be part of the Coat & Collar team, and I jump at every chance to grow as a groomer.
Siara
SCHEDULER & GROOMER
Hi, I'm Siara! I've been grooming professionally for more than four years, and I'm excited to bring that experience to the Coat & Collar team.
Before joining Coat & Collar, I managed a grooming salon while staying hands-on with the dogs, so I know both sides of the work. I specialize in breed-standard cuts and hand-scissoring, and I care just as much about the owner's experience as I do about the dog's.
My goal on every groom is simple: help each dog look and feel their best, with the kind of care and attention Coat & Collar is known for.
